This project was a 30,000 square foot theater building with an education component located on Drury University’s campus. I decided to divide my spaces into two major categories. The education spaces were stacked on the left side of the site and connected to the theater component by a glass atrium. I wanted to play with the height of the theater’s fly space and balance it through stacking other elements. My overall goal was to create this vertical feeling and give the feeling of a “theater machine”. ​
