BOX MALL
The design I pursued is a shopping mall made using a modular system of shipping containers. Not only am I using the shipping containers themselves as a system, but I have also created two basic configurations of boxes that are used to shape the overall form and design of the mall. In order to create interest and hierarchy of spaces I have allowed myself to reconstruct the two configurations, breaking them up into simpler parts, to allow for more design freedom.
